Check engine light stayed on. Called service department and they told me it was ok to run and would start the next morning to bring it in for my service appointment. They took care of the issue while I waited. Great service!

Working with Stacey was a pleasure! She is very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle. She did a wonderful job of going over the features and kept us informed of any new Traverse's that met our criteria when the original one we test drove sold. She kept in touch and let us know when a new one arrived on the lot and scheduled time with us to look at it. She also worked with Eli on our specific maintenance coverage and financing needs so when we did purchase the Traverse, everything went smoothly. I appreciated the no haggling and very speedy purchase process.

We were greeted as soon as we pulled into the garage, and went over our work being done. Our oil change was done, the sheet with all of the items checked was gone over, and we paid and out the door within 45 mintes.

Done in timely fashion

The oil life was not reset on my pickup truck when it was brought in for oil change. Bringing your truck in for service and picking it up with the same 58% oil life does not make you feel like the service was completed. I trust that the work was done but it does make you feel uneasy.

The oil change was not done correctly the first time. The dipstick was not replaced. So after the inconvenience of having to drive back up to dealership. The problem was resolved. I was given a refund.

Quick fast service

Filed better business complaint. Was returned a car with screws missing from enginee cover. Made an appointment told it should be two hours took two days Was giving an outrageous 500 dollar quote for a job that takes 10 minutes and a 21 dollar part. Also giving 600 dollar quote to replace two window switches again all 4 sets of oem switches runs 30 dollars maybe 45 minutes worth of work. But kept my car for two days to tell me they don't have the parts or an eta only to be charged 117 dollara. Might be the biggest scam I've ever had pulled on me going to have to a more trust worthy mechanic to check the car out to see what other components they took out of my car.

Everything went smoothly, just an oil change. BUT, at checkout I was informed that I would be charged 2.89% additional for using a credit card. Never experienced this at a dealership. No advanced warning about this extra charge on web site (that I saw), or I would have brought cash. That used to be just the cost of doing business; probably already figured into your business plan so your getting twice the cc fee from your customers. Brilliant!! I’ll bet you lose more than the 2.89% in customers, like me, that will just use another dealership or mechanic, especially if it’s a larger repair bill. Seems greedy to me, good luck!

Dale Chapman, the sales person went through ordering process and assisted me in ordering a 2500HD that met my use cases. He found the 2 major requirements I requested that were not obvious in the order process and that enabled me to purchase the vehicle without the fancy bells and whistles I did not require. My major disappointment was that Chevrolet did not design the tailgate for easy removal and to work as a truck based work bench. I also am not sure that when I load a ton of #2 or #3 gravel into the bed that the plastic on the inside of the tailgate would not splinter under load.

Everything was great except that the 3rd item that was to be checked (body shop part replacement, LOF and check codes for "Safety Restraint Service Required" warning that keeps popping up onscreen and with an alarm, wasn't fixed or is still faulty? It goes off all of the time and is extremely annoying. It has been looked at twice and all codes seem ok, however it is still happening, and I need to get it fixed so that it will stop the alerts.

After waiting nine months to get my windshield installed ( most of which was not Coughlin’s fault) Scott was nice enough to give me a free oil change and a discount on my transmission fluid change. Unfortunately Coughlin is 155 miles from my house.

salesman did his Job, the rest of the team I was not happy with my experience, i have purchased several vehicles from Coughlin in the past but this one is forgettable. i was never presented with an offer sheet, i was not given the option of reviewing the final offer, only told we are going to get you a great deal. i was called to the finance managers office and presented the final paper work to sign and had never even seen the deal sheet, i have a rating over 800 but was not given the opportunity for GM Financing at the preferred rate with 90 day deferred payments. had it not been for the crappy 6.2L and the need to trade that truck for the one i wanted i would have and in hind sight should have left.

Stanley was great! He helped through the process and was able to answer my questions. The entire process out the door was the quickest I have experienced.

Jason was patient and answered all questions as thoroughly as he could. I did not feel pressured to make a decision. I highly recommend Jason Payne!!!

Between my husband and I this is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from Coughlin Pataskala. We live 45 minutes from there but continue to choose to buy from them because of the level of customer service. Every single person we have dealt with has been amazing, super helpful. This last time I had John, Eric and Stephen and all of them were super knowledgeable and helpful.

My car had grease on the door, door handle, inside door panel, and on the hood after service that was not cleaned up without me bringing it to their attention. This was after I paid and was getting ready to leave. Also, both side mirrors and the rear view mirror had been adjusted. This makes me question the care and attention to detail my car receives at this dealership.

Terrible experience. I was told my service would be 1.5. hours. At 2.5 hours I asked the service coordinator for an update and why it was taking so long for just an oil change. At that point the service coordinator checked and saw that there was an email from the service team on additional items that needed to be discussed with me. Anyway, the SC didn't see this earlier so I sat there for an extra hour for nothing and would still be there if I didn't ask. Wasted a lot of my time. And there was not time for me to have the additional items done. So now I need to go back.

Service was quickly done. But after I picked up my truck. I was in a hurry to get back to work and didn't notice until I got to work, that a fellow employee pointed out that I had oil and handprints all over my white hood and sides of the truck. It was obvious they didn't take the time to put drop clothes over the sides while working on the truck. Makes you question if the service was done correctly or with the same quality of the attention paid to the vehicle.

This makes my 2nd 3 yr lease, the last one also an Equinox, that one a 2022. I leased both thru Mark Thomas, a fellow retired police officer I've known since the mid-1980s. Mark goes out of his way to extend the best customer service and I know he's like that w/all of his customers, not just police friends. He is friendly & exhibits a willingness to do whatever he can to make sure you get a vehicle you're happy with and have a great experience. And he goes out of his way to meet whatever your needs or interests are in a car. He's an all-around nice guy that I've referred to other friends interested in buying or leasing a vehicle too. I will work w/him for my next lease, if he hasn't retired by then, for sure. He always ends the transaction w/a 'call if you need anything or have any questions & thanks you for being a Coughlin customer'.

Very nice and easy going

I arrived early and my car was taken right back and they were finished quickly. The technician was great and covered everything with me regarding the condition of my vehicle and the service they performed.

I had my truck I'm for an oil change, tire rotation and a 27 point inspection on June 17th 2025. My brakes obviously needed work then. However nothing was said or noted on my paperwork. If I had been told I would've got the work done before the rotors were ruined.

I brought my truck home,parked it in driveway next morning there a 12in round spot on my concrete driveway of oil. When I called the service department I was put on hold and nobody ever answered. I decided to just bring the truck in I left it and couple of hours later they said it was ready.They said that the tech had spilt oil and just left it on my motor and they cleaned it off. This is after the last time I was there in December I had an almost $1000.00 Dollar Brake Job that I started hearing a grinding noise in my rear wheels I took it back in and they said the Emergency brake was installed incorrectly. I am not sure that Coughlin will ever get any of my business in the future

I made appointment and was told the work would take 2.5 hours. All work was completed w/n 1.5 hours. The service asked if I had additional requests, and I asked for the tech to verify air filter needed changed because at last appointment air filter was changed but the counter was not reset. The service tech texted with all updates during the appointment and asked if I would like the truck washed. Completely satisfied.

My vehicle was in for routine maintenance. As usual, the service team was courteous and friendly and the maintenance was completed in a timely manner. Thanks again.

Wait was not very long and the intakes told me about the GM points I had which staved me money.

I dropped my car off at noon for a 1:00 appointment on Friday the 17th to address two seperate issues. I texted the number I was given at 4:00 to see if they had any information. No response so I called at 5 and was surprised when I was told that they had not looked at my car and was asked if I needed my car back before the weekend and was told "thats why I shouldnt bring my car in on a friday for a diagnosis." Which I thought was rude. I had already waited over a week for an appointment in the first place. I told her I needed my car back and was told "I hope they didnt take it apart." And that they close at 6. She then acted like she was going to do me a favor by "staying late." Honestly-thanks for nothing and I will only be bringing my car back for oil changes at this point. Ive purchased 3 cars in the last 9 years from this dealership and was more than disappointed in this trip to the service department. Oh and I was rescheduled two weeks out from my original appointment date-no thank you

I had my truck scheduled for a service. Christina helped me. I asked her to check on the status of a radio that was on long term back order because I wanted to schedule it to be installed when it came in. Mine was going to be replaced because it wouldn't turn off when you get out of the vehicle. After completing the scheduled service, Christina had my new radio installed, and I didn't even know it was available. So happy to get 2 appointments done at the same time. It was a nice surprise, coming right before my vacation

Only had one problem with service when they removed the front bumper I don’t think the parking sensors were reattached because they do not work now. Christina was great to wrk with and keep me informed.

We bought our truck brand new from this location in 2020. We decided that when it needed some work, we would take it here, for the best service. We were wrong... We brought it in because several lights came on all of a sudden, service 4WD, reduced engine power, and codes were reading that they were electrical. We have a code reader but it wasn't giving us enough info. We requested a diagnostic be done on the truck so that we would know what all the lights mean. (We are pretty mechanically inclined individuals but we couldn't seem to find out where this issue was coming from). Ben Shurtts called and said, "The dipstick has no oil on it". The oil was just changed about month prior. He insisted that it had bigger issues going on. We asked to ignore that and focus on the lights please. We knew there was oil in it and that it was just changed. He wouldn't let it go. So he insisted on draining our new oil out and replacing it with TOO MUCH oil. He put 8 quarts in it, it only takes 7. He said there was , "A little over 6 quarts in it". We checked it when we brought it home, it showed as over filled on the dipstick. He called us and told us, "All the lights are taken care of and they will all be off." We picked it up and all of the lights were still on except for the reduced engine power . Called that day and received no call back. Emailed and received no response. Finally got ahold of Ben and he acted like the service 4WD light wasn't on when we brought it in. Said that we would have to pay for another diagnostic to get that checked. Seriously? I am not paying for another diagnostic when I JUST paid for one and didn't any paper or anything explaining what the codes meant. He told us that the wiring harness (which has a bulletin out on it) was melted to the alternator. I couldn't believe I was paying for this. This definitely seems like something that should be covered by a recall or dealership, seeing as it has nothing to do with how it is driven or taken care of. We were charged $657.12 for what must have only taken about an hour's worth of work because they opened at 8am and called me by 9:37am telling me that it was done. Our bill has almost no information on it about what exactly I paid for. I find it hard to believe that a few wires right under the hood, cost me $500.00. Not to mention the extra "dealership charge" on my bill. What is that for? We really did try to be nice and patient but it was extremely hard when Ben was talking to us like we were idiots. He was annoyed and that was obvious, but so were we. Safe to say that even though our last 3 vehicles were purchased from this location (Coughlin Pataskala) we will NEVER purchase another one.

I had a very disappointing experience with Coughlin Chevrolet in Pataskala. The service was poor from start to finish. Communication was almost nonexistent—calls and questions went unanswered by Adam Mahr, and when responses finally came, they were short, dismissive, and unhelpful. The receptionist was equally unprofessional—rude, careless, and even admitted they “didn’t want to be involved in the situation.” That’s not acceptable customer service. My car sat there for 7 weeks with little progress, essentially put on the back burner. To make matters worse, interior pieces went missing and I was told they were “already gone” because the car came in taken apart—which was not true. Finally, after all that time, they tried to sell me a new battery simply because the car was dead from sitting, without even attempting to charge it first to confirm if it was actually bad. That feels dishonest and careless. Overall, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for my time and vehicle has left me very dissatisfied. I would not recommend this dealership’s service department to anyone

I have only had the opportunity to schedule a couple oil changes with this location after purchasing my new truck. However, each time has been very easy to schedule, follow-ups and updates are great, and they have performed service in a very reasonable amount of time after dropping off the vehicle. I will continue to utilize them in the future for my vehicle needs.

My oil change and tire rotation took about an hour and a half. I tried to use my rewards to pay for part of it and it became a real hastle because I didn't know my GM customer number. After getting it taken care of this multimillion dollar dealership couldn't find change for a $20 bill except for $5 worth of dimes. A kind lady who said she owned a business took the dimes in exchange for a $5 bill . It seems all they want is credit cards for payment.

Well the person who initially spoke to me wasn’t the most welcoming. Then I expressed how my brakes have been squeaking all the time and the answer I was given is that Chevy took some kind of metal out of the brakes in a certain year and ever since then Chevy vehicles brakes are now known to squeak. Which makes me feel like this should have been disclosed when buying a vehicle from you guys. I bought my vehicle in March and the brakes are already squeaking.

Time was longer than expected as I had even asked about the time beforehand. 2 hours to do a oil change. Again I did not receive any of my points on my GM rewards for another service action at your location . As this has happened in the past. I have lost many points because someone is dropping the ball in this area. I have had my wheels scratched up and I have brought this to the service department employees attention. I know it is tough to get good people to work at this time and do a the job they were hired to do. So I do understand and very patient. Just tired of some of the underlying factors...

I took my 2020 Chevrolet High Country in for a squealing serpentine belt and exhaust rattling. Christina was awesome in listening to my concerns and thoughts about what the issues were pertaining to my truck. She was thorough and very polite. An amazing person with customer service. Bentley was the mechanic that worked on my truck. I like the way that guy thinks, I needed gaskets and exhaust manifolds on both sides of my motor, he asked Christina to call me and see if I would be OK with putting spark plugs in my truck. Seeing how he is right there and has easy access to the spark plugs. I told Christina absolutely on new spark plugs and I told her that I like the way that mechanic thinks. Bentley performed an awesome service and quality work on my truck. First day out of the shop I put 726 miles on my truck and it ran like a champ. And is still running like a champ. GREAT JOB TEAM!!! I will definitely be back to finish up the front and rear differential fluid change, transmission flush, and the other preventive maintenance that needs to be performed on my truck.

Since I bought my Silverado 1500, the only people to service it is the Coughlin Pataskala team. They do excellent service on the vehicle and have great customer service.

Call service during the last week in September after taking my truck in for steering issues. They said they would rotate the tires and check to see if a weight had fallen off, causing the steering issue. I called the following week to set up an appointment for October 1 and never got a phone call back.. I reached out to someone else at the dealership that arranged my appointment for October 1. I brought in information regarding steering issues with Chevrolet products to see if they would fix the problem which they did but ended up costing me $ 4000.00. I will never buy a new truck from Chevrolet due to this issue they don’t stand behind their vehicles and they want to customer to pay for their poor design and computer issues.

We experienced a warning light in our vehicle and other related issues that were happening sporadically. After having it into your service center twice, the technicians indicated they could not find a problem. The first service appointment, since no problem was found, cost us the diagnostic fees and rental car fees (which I assume would have been a courtesy car if something was fixed). After a second service appointment (because the same warning light and issues came back), you were kind enough to not charge us again because the techs still found nothing to fix. As an added bonus, we found a vaping device on the floorboard of our vehicle as soon as we got home (although none of our household smokes or vapes) so we can only assume it was someone who worked on the car. Then, the same issue appeared once again a few days later so we took it to another dealership who diagnosed the problem and fixed it under warranty (with just payment of a deductible). We are very relieved to have the problem resolved but extremely disappointed that we made two trips to your service center (which is a very long distance from our home) with no resolution.

Really enjoyed my salesman and finance guys, They were very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions and requirements. I do feel it took way longer than necessary from start to finish.

Quick and easy process getting what I wanted

Went in for a first oil change in my 24 C8, the technician found that my drain plug had been damaged at the factory. Problem was resolved asap. Darrin made the process simple and painless

First off the only reason I didn’t do one star is because I’ve had a good experience every service and when I bought my new truck there. May 30,000 Mike maintenance didn’t go so well. The oil was getting changed and somehow new oil was sprayed all over my truck. The top of the engine was covered, the inner fender was as well. Both fenders on the outside, the grille, the headlight and the bumper were all covered in oil. I called the service department later when I noticed it and they said there was a mishap and they had four guys wiping my truck with rags. The truck was dirty from being driven so they were wiping the paint that had dirt and dust on it and covered in oil. That’s a quick way to scratch up a paint job. They obviously didn’t do a great job as there is was still oil everywhere. No one said a word to me while I was there or when I paid for the services. The techs didn’t notify a manager from what I was told. I was told on the phone they would send me an email with some free oil changes in the future. I have yet to receive that email. Even with all this I’m not angry, things happen and I get that. Just being notified would have been nice and some fallow through from management.
