The 2025 Corvette E-Ray is one of the most innovative and exciting high-performance sports cars on the road today. You can choose one of three E-Rays: the 1LZ, 2LZ, or 3LZ, all of which comes as either a coupe or hard-top convertible. Let’s take a closer look at each trim.
1LZ Trim
The base trim has access to the E-Ray’s full performance. The formidable 6.2L V8 DI engine generates 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque with a standard performance exhaust, while an electric motor on the front wheel axle grants 160 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. These two motors working together deliver 655 horsepower and staggering acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Power delivery and gear shifts are silky smooth with an 8-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.
With both motors active, the 1LZ has Electrified All-Wheel Drive (eAWD), which makes for extremely stable and precise cornering. The standard all-season run-flat tires add to the E-Ray’s road-hugging confidence. You have standard-performance Brembo brakes, lightning-quick Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and Stealth Mode, where the self-charging battery motor powers the car alone in near silence for short periods. The everyday practicality of the 1LZ E-Ray is enhanced with impressive cargo space, which includes a sizable, drainable front trunk.
2LZ Trim
The next trim adds to the base trim’s already impressive range of driver support and safety tech. You now have HD front and rear vision cameras rather than front alone, plus side blind zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2LZ has a memory convenience package for all occupants; the passenger seats gain a powered back bolster and lumbar control, and all seats are now heated and ventilated. The steering wheel is also heated.
On top of this, the 1LZ’s Bose 10-speaker audio system is upgraded to a Bose Performance Series 14-speaker system. You have two cargo nets for more secure cargo storage. Wireless device charging and a universal home remote are also standard in the 2LZ trim.
3LZ Trim
The top trim raises the E-Ray’s cabin into even higher luxury. The upper dashboard, door panels, and console are all leather-wrapped, as is the carbon fiber steering wheel. Most of the cabin’s trim is now wrapped in sueded microfiber.
In the 3LZ, you enjoy the superb support and comfort of competition sport-style GT2 bucket seats with carbon fiber trim. All seating surfaces have Napa leather upholstery with perforated inserts for breathability and a very premium look. You also have the option of seating upholstery in Napa leather of a rich orange-red Habanero hue.
