With over 6,500 riders annually, Pelotonia unites communities with the shared goal of ending cancer. Our Team's Contributions Team Coughlin rode strong with 23 passionate cyclists who collectively covered 1,403 miles. Through their efforts, we raised an impressive $64,052 to support groundbreaking research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James (OSUCC – James). We are especially proud of our two High Rollers, who demonstrated exceptional fundraising dedication. more Longstanding Commitment Since we began participating, Team Coughlin has raised a total of $365,037 for cancer research. This year alone, the Pelotonia community raised a remarkable $26,200,095, showcasing the collective power of working together toward a vital cause. Open year-round between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm, this green area sits on the eastern banks of the Scioto River and can be reached in less than half an hour by car from the Pataskala city center. Boasting great views of the downtown Columbus skyline and featuring a section of the famous Scioto Mile, Scioto Audubon Metro Park offers several nature trails, sprawling wetlands, rock climbing facilities, volleyball courts, and birdwatching areas. This beautiful park was established in the early 2000s in an area that was previously home to warehouses, factories, and rail yards. 3. Pickerington Ponds Metro Park A well-known destination for birding and wildlife watching, Pickerington Ponds Metro Park is another popular escape among visitors from all over the Columbus metropolitan area. This nature reserve covers over 1,600 acres and provides habitat to over 260 different species of birds. Getting here from the Pataskala city center takes about 20 minutes by car via route I-70.
